Very nice article and a great read!
Captain Ed is a truly nice guy.
We had our charter boat ( now sold) directly across the creek from his place, and I have stopped by and admired his artwork in his house. We have tossed bait back and forth between boats out on the Bay, when he, or more likely, us ran a little low.
As a former shop teacher, we have shared many stories about our teaching experiences.

We have exchanged fishing information with him continuously for many years.

There is a rumor going around that Captain Ed stood and looked over God's shoulder when he filled the Bay.
