Looks like Santa paid you an early visit and left you a long anticipated I.O.U. for February.

You'll be making wakes this coming spring.

      Congratulations.

I fished with a kayak guide last Thurs and Fri. She had a Minnkota motor on the back of her kayak and pulled me along when we moved long distances. I have been towed by other guides with Torqueedo motors too. The Minnkota had more power than the Torqueedo when the guide moved the control to the highest of five settings. I imagine that Rick's new Torqueedo will bring even more power to the game. Enjoy the new toy.

Congrats.....It's looking like a great motor....Though more power equals more battery use in higher speeds...

I'm finding with my new 65# brushless motor it is taking less battery amp usage to power at my trolling speeds then my brushed motor 55#'s did.

Yes........ that is one of the advantages of the new Torqeedo, it gives better efficiency than the 403 at slower speeds. It also doesn’t have a gear reducer so it is silent. I realize that 3 times the power requires more battery. I already have one of the larger batteries so I will have 2 and I may trade in one of my smaller batteries for another one so I should essentially be able to go full speed all day/week ........ guess we’ll see. Can’t wait!!!!
