    Yes, the north end of the Mellon bridge and you can park right there too. I have not fished the hampton bar, but it does look like a good spot from looking at it on the NOAA chart 12245

    I would think it would be good to fish right on the edge of it.

        North Side of Mellon Bridge

        Yeah, the ledge!

        So, where do we park? There's a grassy/dirt area east side of the road. Park there? Park on Water St? Looks like a sandy area launch. Or park on the west side in the parking lot?

          Last year I parked on the grass/dirt area east of the road. The locals park here and fish off of the bridge.

            Most people launch from Willoughby on the south side I think.
