  • Meet and Greets?

Even though it appears "formal" meet and greets are in the past,,
I do notice there is not a dedicated sub forum for upcoming outings or "hookups" (that does not sound right lol)
I think it would help the Snaggedline community if there was a dedicated invite/outing sub forum?

I am headed to PA for the weekend. But thanks for posting.

But exactly my point, if we had a "hookup sub forum", folks could post where/when they are going if they don't mind some company.

So any chance the mods could add that?

That should be a good idea to make a meet up or meet and greet section since it is no longer a formal event like in the past. You should try to PM the guys in charge of this forum to see if they would create one. I think it would help Snaggedliners quickly filter through the forum to find not only informal Meet and Greets, but also general Hook Ups? of those kayakers looking for a few other anglers to join them on the water for company or safety.

I agree that an informal "Meet Up" section would be useful. I sometimes reach out to individuals when I am planning a trip, but I think this would be an easy way to meet other folks in the group without arranging a formal meet up. And I think we have some new folks in the last year or two.

Request received. Grilled owns and runs the forum. I help out and moderate which is mostly just combating spam and shutting down rare political rants and the occasional cowpokey outbursts.
