I noticed a Native in the photos. Apparently a father and son team located and got an alligator in Southern Calvert County, Chesapeake Ranch Estates https://www.thebaynet.com/articles/0...3j5PFs-QmeottM

I saw this yesterday. I’m worried that they may have unwittingly violated Federal Law that regulates alligators, even in places where they aren’t native. I’m also wondering who kept an alligator that grew to over 7’ in their house.Mike

One was caught in the Susky a few weeks back as well...another escaped/released pet.

Think of all the invasive species that were someone's discarded, released pets...the big constrictor reptiles in Florida, the many species of tropical fish, tilapia, snakeheads...not to mention monkeys, birds, and large cats..."Lady Luck" 2016 Red Hibiscus Hobie Outback, Lowrance Hook2-7TS

LOL.... with warmer temps, I always joke with friends that one day, we will have Palm Trees growing in WDC, and alligators will migrate further North than Southern North Carolina.MOC a.k.a. "Machburner the Crab Whisperer"
