  • Elsa Flooding in Southern Maryland- affecting fishing

Lower Southern Maryland- St. Mary's got walloped by Elsa...some roads blocked by high water...the deluge of lots of fresh water should flush some of the jellyfish out...but you wonder how the storm will affect our fishing...got to increase the floating, loose grass and the stained water cuts down visibility...figure three days of tidal changes should restore the water quality, so mid July should return to normalcy...but for the next few days??

    Ron,

I saw that on The Weather Channel last night. At one point the meteorologist was tracking a potential tornado over Lexington Park.

I hope the SMOG crew are all well.

It skirted us here in the Baltimore/Annapolis corridor. Lower wind and not as much rain as initially forecast.

Up here in northern Frederick county we got nothing from Elsa. Guess we were too far N&E. We did get a few passing showers the last 2 day, total rainfall 1", but they were not part of Elsa. We needed the rain up here.
