Ok, been fishing for specs all season, but I only seem to catch non keepers, and A LOT of them. Ill catch 30 non keepers and 1 keeper, but ill talk to guy at the ramp who show me there 6 keepers over 18" and they were fishing the same exact drop off, flat, grass bed, etc. I just dont get it and it is getting really frustrating! Im throwing every plastic I have, every jerk bait, every topwater lure, crankbait, in ever color you could imagine, but still cant seem to get on the keepers. CAN ANYONE HELP???

There's a cool show on WFN called Flat's Class where they cover big trout catching techniques in cooler water. There are a couple episodes devoted to this. They focus on fishing the flats down south, but I think the basic principles apply. They use light flouro leaders, long casts, and suspending baits like mirolures and weightless soft plastics with super slow retrieves.
Don't know if these shows are available without a subscription to WFN, but if you do get a chance to watch it, they have good info.
