Cold Weather Snakeheads?

So does anyone know what happens to the snakeheads along the Potomac when the weather turns cold? I was wondering if it would make any sense to hit Mattawoman or the Ghost Ships in search of them if we have a nice weekend this winter.

I was thinking about doing that. At the very least, it might be possible to scare up some nice bass. Another yakker was catching them in the Occoquan in April while I was shad fishing. The water was heating up by then, though.

I second that. Would love to catch another snakehead.

I don't think I've seen any reports of people catching them through the winter, but as quick as they grow in the potomac I'm sure they are feeding.
