Suggestion on low profile PFD?

Wife is getting me a christmas present. And my $15 dicks PFD has got to go.

Any suggestions for a decent low-pro PFD? Stohlquist came up on some other threads, chinook, etc.

i had a stohlquist angler good PFD also look into the Co2 auto inflate more comfortable on hot days

I appreciate the feedback surfdog, that seems to be the consensus for the stohlquist PFDs.

i got the ascend from bps. i have a bunch of life vests for a powerboat, a ski vest, etc and almost didn't get it. but to my surprise, it turned out to be one of my favorite purchases due to comfort.

features i like - mostly mesh on the sides for summertime. i usually keep at least one buckle snapped so it can't float up behind me and it's still comfortable and doesn't get pushed up by the seatback. i thin around $60.

Nice! 60 bucks too.. looks like it doesnt have the lower back foam in it... Might be a winner...
