  • Perch Jerk... I am getting the feeling

I have been staring at my kayak in my garage. It is calling me to take it out, especially with the warm winter. This weekend on Friday and Sat the temps are going to be around 54 degrees. That being said, have anyone heard of any yellow perch being caught anywhere in significan numbers? White perch can do, but it is the yellow perch I am really looking for.

I was hoping that the cold snap early this week would have turned the bite on for the Susky, but I have a feeling that it hasn't really dropped the water temp that much to make a difference. Im tempted too give it a try too, but the good bite is probably still a little bit away...

I've been keeping my eyes peeled, but I think we may be at least 2 weeks away before I'll head up.

I'm not available during the week. However....is anyone up for an early morning launch Saturday to do some fishing before the M&G?
