Has anyone ever launched at Green Haven Wharf? I was just looking at AA county's car top boat launch sites and that one looks interesting.

How about Carrs Wharf? Just trying to gather some intel. Thanks.

Green Haven warf is way back at the head waters of Stoney Creek. If your looking for Pickerel, maybe. I grew up on Stoney Creek, out toward the mouth of the creek, near the bridge. As a kid, in all my years of fishing, I never caught a pickerel. Now, remember, I fished out towards the mouth of the creek. Up toward the head of the creek there may be more fresh water. I had a friend of mine that swore he had caught a largemouth bass at the head of the creek.

i had a house on outing ave 3 houses from the wharf. used to bring my nieces and nephews down to fish for perch there. not a real easy place to launch from. ive seen a lot of big carp jumping in the early morning. its nice and quiet back there too bad its not more accessible.

About 20 years ago, I launched a 13' Boston Whaler at Carrs Wharf. There was a poorly maintained ramp and a few parking spaces in those days. I don't know about the area now. I suspect that you could drop a kayak in there and find some fishy shorelines nearby.

Last year I launched there just too the left of the fishing pier. its a rocky and sandy area but its doable. I did realy well there catching perch by casting along the shore line and the reeds on the east as well as the docks and pilings. I didn't catch anything other than white perch at any time there.

Carr’s wharf is definitely kayak launch friendly. Parking on the other hand can get tight. That is my fall go to perch area the last couple years. Lots of docks to cast to and protected water it the wind is blowing.
