  • OC 1st week in March

Looks like I am taking my daughter to her soccer tournament for the weekend of March 2-4, so I'll miss the flea market. Whats around in the inlet etc down there that time of year and a good place to launch to go after it? Ugly day out today so its either go shoot some geese or work on the yak. Decisions, decisions.

Nice day for sitting inside a nice warm house in a big fat easy chair and watching the freezing rain fall, too.

Red drum along the coastline around inlets and jetties? I know March is about the time they come in from offshore.

The Red Drum (Channel Bass) migrate up the coast from Florida and SC- when they arrive depends on water temps and the angle of the sun- the Kingfish (whiting) is one of the first saltwater panfish to migrate in spring time that is great table fare

Yeah, yum-yum. The big ones will be around Fisherman's Island at CBBT. Can't wait.
