CCA Baltimore Meeting- Tuesday, January 31st
The CCA Maryland Baltimore Chapter will host its next meeting on Tuesday, January 31st at 6:30 PM at Nick's Fish House, 2600 Insulator Drive in Baltimore. Well-known and respected local angler Dave Gobeli will give a detailed "how-to" style presentation on lure-making tips and techniques; including hook selection, pouring jig heads, painting and dressing lures. He'll also cover machining trolling lures with the "tap-in" eyes, including how to machine your own molds and inserting the eyes. Lastly, he'll show off some of his favorite homemade lures for catching Rockfish, Bass, Carp and Perch in Marylamd waters.
Plus, I heard that Shawn Kimbro was planning on coming to see Dave's presentation and was able to twist his arm to bring copies of Chesapeake Light Tackle to sign for those who haven't yet had a chance to get their hands on a copy.
There is a full menu and cash bar available at Nick's- all are welcome and invited to attend.
