Outback with turbo fins and sailing rudder. They both make a big difference, especially the rudder. The only thing I wish my hobie could do is go in reverse.

          Mine does!

Get a Hobie, I love my outback. I can speak very highly of the customer service. I bought a used 2010 Outback last year that ended up developing a crack in the hull. I turned in the warranty claim and got a brand new 2012 Outback a couple months later.

You cannot go wrong with a Hobie. I chose the Revo because I wanted a longer narrow boat that I could paddle if I had too. It came in handy for me when my rudder cable broke. The Hobie dealers were great in helping me get it fixed under warranty. The Revo is long enought to provide me with enough storage options to rig out my boat for running a trotline to catch crabs. I leave my scupper holes open to help drain the seat area, however, during the coolor months of fishing, I have a tendancy to wear waders or a dry pants, which negates any water that might be in the seat area. Also in the summer time I wear quick drying fishing pants, I do no mind the water in my boat to cool me off.

Moc is the reason I have a Hobie- he drove up my driveway with a beautiful red shiny new toy on top of his SUV one day- that was it! I had a bad case of Hobie envy and had to have one- two months later I bought the Ugly Duckling- like Moc I cool off in my Hobie...not by having water in my seat but by dipping my drover hat in the water and pouring it over my head-

I remember that Day Ron. It was a good time. If I did not own my 12 foot Tarpon (which I love), I would own two Hobies if I could afford it, the 12 foot Outback instead of my Tarpon and the 13.5 foot Revo. If someone buys either boat, they cannot go wrong.

There is really no dark side, as long as you are out there fishing.
