Hello Everyone,

New to the site, found out about it this past Saturday when I met several members during my visit to Occoquan park. Great guys!

I've been fishing my whole life but only fishing on kayak for the last five years. I'm hooked! I reside in Frederick, MD and fish on the Potomac near point of rocks and Landers Launch. When ever I have time I'll hit the bay near Harbor Hospital by Raven Stadium or Fort Carol by Key Bridge.

I look forward in meeting new members and traveling to destinations that will fuel my passion for fishing. I tried to think of a name that would be fitting (WaterWolf) but instead I kept the one I've always used for email and other forums.

I own two kayaks and I'm currently inquiring on another (toy).

You know, I had no idea where to go when I arrived. I pulled into the boat launch. Then I saw a signed that read "parking for trailers only", what to do I thought? Then I noticed you guys across the parking lot and then I realized, I'm not alone today. I think I found a home here.

The fishing was great, I managed to catch 8 crappie and 1 yellow perch. Two of the crappies were keepers but I release them and the perch was bait size. I landed the fish under the 95 bridge south shore line.

Welcome Loupa, I am certain that you will soon see that you have found a home here. There is alot going on here. This is an active Club. I call it that because FORUM just doesn't do it justice! If you get bored, Just post that you want to get on the water, I'll bet you will find more than one person here willing to go. Doesn't matter the weather or location, SOMEONE will offer to go out with you. Now all you need to do is stock up on gear, as I bet you'll be fishing more, now that you've found MKF. We do monthly get togethers called Meet and Greets. Try to make a few and you will most likely meet half of the club.
