I decided to get two travel rods- one I ordered from Albright, a 7' four piece spinning rod (it was delivered by UPS today) medium action 6-12 pound line, 1/4-3/4 oz and a 7'6" conventional four piece rod I ordered from Charkbite- that way I can fish two rods from a rental kayak- one a Abu Revo SX HS 20# braid and the other a Pflueger Supreme with 15# braid medium action spinning outfit- the Charkbite inshore is rated as a 20 pound casting rod and is scheduled for deliver the 13th of February-

My initial reaction to the quality of the Albright four piece spinning rod is that it is a very nice rod (cost $143 plus 12.95 S&H). Top quality Fuji guides and excellent workmanship- fit and finish is first class- the action feels nice and it bends almost like a once piece rod-Haven't had a chance to try it on the water yet- the travel case is really nice too. I am looking forward to traveling with fishing tackle from now on...
