  • Hi all...new to this forum and Kayak Fishin

Just thought i'd say hello to everyone out there. Found out about your site from one of your fellow members (Dogfish..aka..Don). Great Gentleman!

I just recently bought his Ocean Kayak Prowler and look forward to exploring new ways to catch some fish.

Pretty much have been a sand and jetty fisherman but loved the thought of yakking the susky and back bays of the beach, especially summertime. Can't wait to use it soon.

Looking forward to reading some interesting posts and especially seeing some of those yak-caught fish photos. Excited to learn some new things from you folks as well.

The name's Minh Tri Dang....call me "Tree" for short.....

I mainly fish the Susky flats and also AI (assateague surf). Hope to see some folks around those parts.

Don...Smallies still around my parts......day after we met....Shore based thou..

hey bud, me and my cousin fish the susky in the spring and summer. when the generation schedule at the dam is low. do you fish any of the river? we fish from the dam to about port deposit. catch stripers, smallies, cats and perch. i did catch a 24 inch walleye last spring also. hope to see you there.

Appreciate the welcome. Susqueyaker, I do fish there quite frequently, mainly from Lapidium and up throughout Deer Creek. 5 -7 minutes from my house.

I've had lots of success catching Stripers, Smallies, and some LMB, all from shore. Up here i'm primarily a lure fisherman so it can be hit or miss. Definitely looking forward to yakking this area.

I checked out the dam today (didn't fish). saw about 7 - 8 guys walleye fishing. saw a small one landed. Did see a good sized striper flop right in front of them though.

        See you out there!

Welcome to the site. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer group of peole with same interests and so willing to share their knowledge and help whenever they can. Hope you get out there on the kayak and start catching them.

Welcome to the site Tree. If you enjoyed success from the shore, you should kill them from a kayak.
