  • More Postings - By New Guys!?!?

Have you noticed? These past weeks have been quite active on the Forum. I see a lot more postings, particularly by newbies and guys who just haven't posted much. Wow, this is great. Makes the Forum a lot more interesting. Even when topics are repeats, I still learn something new. Can't wait till the fishing gets hot during late Spring and Summer because they'll be many more reports. More choices to fish. Keep it up guys!

Thanks to all the members for putting that on @ Bpro. Especially On the Fly for his negotiating with mgmt @ Bpro. I was able to nail them down for sponsoring the CBKA tourny again this year. I had a Great time doing that Basspro public Ed event on that weekend (Sunday). I was shocked at how many People didn't know about the sport and fun of Kayak Fishing. Job Well Done Harry (on the fly)

We did the same on Sat at BPS too. It will be interested if those who are new to the forum, mentions for us how they heard of us and got to our site.

Hopefully we will have a good turnout for the CBKA Tournament in Sept (7-9) with all this new blood and kayakers in the area.

Should I tell Gary we need to fill more captains bags?

I just stumbled across the website through another website. So far I like what I see from members seems like a civil place. There's nothing wrong with a good ribbing or poking. Just keep it civil which is what I see. I have read alot of good info in my short time and hope to be a good contributor as well. Thanks to all the folks that keep this site going.

I am a Tidalfish member and did some posts in the kayak section there. I was one of the guys who found this forum from my trip to Basspro.

I have been fishing the bay for a long time. In my experience, kayak use has increased 10 fold in the last ten years. I think the SOT's have alot to do with that as they are more versitile than the SINK's.

One entity that has contributed alot to the growth of kayaks in my opinion, is that outfit that takes people for cruises and sightseeing trips on the bay in yaks. My father in law got a yak because of them.

                            Regards,

                            John

Hey guys my name is jon, I am one of the newbies you speak of. I have been on the site learning for a few weeks and decided to post for the first time a couple days ago. I have found the site to be great and very helpful. I am down in Salisbury and got to go out for my second time last weekend with RavensDfense and had a blast, I am hooked.
