The strong spring sun is warming the shallow bay waters in the creeks and sounds...perch are getting active now- Cobb Island sound has lots of small white perch- and there are lots of killifish in the shallows...my Brother-in-law turned 76 this week and he lives down at Cobb Island with my "older" Sister...he reports to me that when he goes out on the dock at the point to smoke his cigars he sees fish breaking...Sis won't let him smoke cigars on the front porch...

How big were they? Where do you launch from?

BTW, fishing reports from MD are posted in The Boatyard. VA reports go to Waters Beyond -Virginia. You may to ask Grilled Sardines or stupidjet to move the post.

Good to hear about the white perch again. Do they usually show up in the eastern rivers before the western side?

Missed out on the meet and greet, but may have to do a shake-down tour of the Severn or Magothy soon.

Susq- thanks identifying the put-in location. Is this on the north or south side of the Rt 301 bridge? Is there a pull-off or do you park on the side of the road?

the north bound side. there is a small backroad that runs down close to the river and you can park there.
