Lets get it Started. Just got my trotlines last week. My traps are ready as well.

I saw the reports as soon as they came out. I am glad that the crabs appear to be rebounding. I hope we have a banner year like VA seems to be having. As soon as the rivers get to 57 or higher then I will run a test crabbing trip on my kayak or canoe. The first crabs to come out will be the big dark rusty ones. Then once they have nbeen picked through, we will have small crabs the must molt to get larger for the Sept to Oct run. This will be the first year that I will crab in late April. Most likely I will try the more southern waters first since they warm up first and get the crabs as they are migrating up the Bay. A month from now I may be eating my own freshly caught crabs.
