Hobie to Release a NEW Kayak Model

Hey Guys,

I couldn't wait any longer to tell you, but be on the lookout tomorrow 4/1/12 for the press release of Hobie's newest addition to the kayak line. I'm super excited about. Now I just need to figure out somehow for them to let me be the 1st to have it!!!

Idk a specific time, I was told today was the day.. I really hope the news is released so I don't make any extra suspense than I planned.

i think it's going to be a pro-angler ultra-light extreme. it will be just like the reg pro-angler except it will be carbon-fiber lightweight foam sandwich construction and weigh only 40#. it will also have a refined hull entry for better wave-piercing and streamline tail to create a nearly frictionless slippery shape. and to finish it up, it will premier the new mirage drive with 2 speeds forward and reverse.

I know the biggest complaint is the weight. A lot of guys who cartopped the PA ended up using a trailer. If such a PA came out (light weigh at 40# ), I'd be all ears. A mirage drive with reverse?!?! Holy cow, that would so cool Or are we just dreaming?
