Hobie to Release a NEW Kayak Model

Hobie just announced it will soon be manufacturing a lower cost option to the kayak line that will also help clean up the local rivers.

Well, I just talked to a friend of mine who overheard some guy talking on a bus that said his second cousin heard that the new Hobie is a Matt Baden signature model.

I was on the hobie forums earlier (on which Matt is a regular participant), and some other guys were also talking about having heard from "reliable sources" that there's a new hobie... so either there's a new hobie, or Matt Baden is is a great joker

I would love to see a model like the outback that has a flat area for easy comfortable standing, kind of like the Wilderness Systems Ride models. That would be my ideal kayak.

Ditto ...... That was one of the reasons I bought the outback. cause alot of people said you can stand in them but with the floor layout, that would be very uncomfortable IMO. I've thought about making some kind of platform to work.

........ they already make 1 ....... it's called the Pro Angler ...... great for standing ...... and everything else for fishing and crabbing ........
