Looks like it may do the trick, but will have to actually see it. Hmmm.... at $148...it may be better to just buy a Trevala S at $170.

........ Ya want custom or off the rack .......... you seldom get a custom rod for the price of off the rack .....That $148 is just the blank. The 844 is a class of blank ....... there are cheaper 844 blanks ........ go to Utmostenterprises.com ...... they have the best prices on the Batson blanks ........ I like the Batson's but I like the Castaway blanks better ........ they are popular with the Redfish and Bass guys down south on the Gulf. I bought a bunch of the ones I really like just before they stopped making them. Plan to make a matching set for casting and spinning reels ........
