Smithville Lake, Caroline County

Just wanted to know if anybody here has fished this little lake. Seen some reports of nice crappie caught. The lake is not to far of a drive for me here on the Eastern Shore.

I've been there twice and have caught nice crappie, the lake does get a lot of green film on it and I believe last year they closed it due to high levels of bacteria or something in that effect.have not been back this year.but its like most lakes, you fish for large mouth and catch crappie and vise versa.
