Looking for interesting pickerel recipe

I love eating them, but getting tired of the same old recipes.

I pickled some last winter. That was certainly interesting. I didn't care for it that much, but many people, especially in the Midwest, love pickled pike (I figure pickled pickerel is close enough). I think with a different spice blend I might have enjoyed it more.
