Spray Top??

What do you guys think about this? I know its for sailing, but do you think it would still function for kayaking?

It should do what it is designed to do, keep you dry from spray and rain. Won't keep you dry if you fall in the drink. What were you looking for it to do?

I just want something to wear as a paddle jacket. Keep me dry and warm when its cooler out(like right now) when I am on the water. I just want to make sure I have the right gear to be warm and safe on the water.
