I was hoping rain would show up about 10AM Saturday,, and there would be a "Calm before the storm",, As I watched a red sky sunrise over glass smooth waters,, as I reeled in a 38" rockfish.

      Guess not ?? LOL

Got several rockfish on topwater last night and did some very casual perchin' today, that will probably be all the fishing I do until the middle of next week.

Its entirely a game time decision, but I have a couple shore spots that are fairly well sheltered from NE winds that I may hit in the morning if conditions allow. No way I'm taking out the kayak tomorrow.

Went from 6-730pm. Fairly calm but the water was high and banks were flooded. Air was warm. Lots of fish and bird activity on the Pax. Caught a rock and lizardfish from shore on a spook. Had several blowups that missed. I may go tomorrow depending on how quickly the winds pickup. If you go be prepared for high water and fast currents.
