Fishing access is shrinking. Anne Arundel County Rec & Parks deeply cut back fishing hours at Jonas Green Park on the Severn. It used to be 24 hour access at the fishing pier, which is one of the few license-free fishing locations in the state. Eyeball the Jonas Green Park schedule here: https://www.aacounty.org/locations-a...ine-green-park Rec & Parks cited trash and loitering. Instead of enforcing the law, they cut back hours and locked out the good users who had been fishing in the park overnight for decades. Plus there's the new oddball fishing permit for shore fishing in Beverly Triton.
