The irony of our blue crab decline vs. a growing and generally unwanted population in the Mediterranean is hard to ignore. Why when a new species enter an area scientist automatically think that particular species is devouring another?

Blue crabs taste great. I hope they can benefit from their presence.

Man i love blue crabs they have always been a special treat for me, and I savor their flavor. But knowing that a new species might impact them is cause for concern
