  • Queen Annes County pickerel

Hey all, besides the mill ponds can you recommend any tidal creeks in Queen Annes County that hold pickerel?

I have caught them in Tuckahoe Creek.

But I catch more and larger ones in Eastern Shore ponds.

Thanks Mark! Do you think they would be in the top end of Cox Creek?

I don't know. I have never fished there.

Certainly the upper reaches are your best bet if they exist in Cox Creek.

They like quiet waters with hard structure such as docks, riprap and deadfall. They also like areas with subaquatic vegetation.
