    Anyone fishing tomorrow?

I might hit up Pohick Bay or Occoquan or Leesylvania

Targeting NSH and LMB and any species of panfish, hoping to add more to the species list tomorrow

I am driving west tomorrow morning to reach Morgantown, WV by dinner time. Unless the water is too high and dirty from the rains, I plan to stop at several spots along the Potomac and see what I can catch. If the river does not look good, I have a few ponds and lakes as a back up plan.

      Bay Bridge?

I'm coming from Hagerstown and was going to try the Bay Bridge. I was staying away from Potomac due to FLW this week. Also I'm dying to catch something saltwater since I got my kayak.

Want to do the BB or do you have any advice for the pilings of BB or that area?

Across the bay at Pohick near the island and fishing pier has been good.

Hello, i was just reading your post about bay bridge fishing. I was down there today from 6am-1pm and caught a nice 31" fat keeper at the first rock pile on the east bound bridge at the main span where the large suspension cables are anchored. I launch from sandy point state park at the small craft launch just past the marina on the left side next to the swimming beach. It's about a 75' drag or carry across sand to water(not bad). It's a pretty easy paddle out to the main span especially today since i caught the outgoing tide in am and the incoming tide in the pm.(nice) it was a little wet this morning but it still beats a day at work.:d

          Thanks

Thanks, nice fish. I'd love to hook a nice one like that. Tomorrow will be my first time fishing the pilings. I've read about the rock piles but am not sure about exact locations etc. Depending on conditions I hear any given piling can hold fish, other times the rock piles are it. Are they on the opposite side of bay from SP or on both sides at main pilings? I'm going to move around and get orientated tomorrow for sure.

Really wanted to head to the BB, but gotta stay local for work tomorrow afternoon.

            John,

Let me know how you do if you end up hitting the potomac. Lets hope the river isnt too muddy.

Good luck, hope everyone does well.

I am off on Friday, so I am trying to formulate a plan of attack. Part of me wants to make another crabbing run, and the other part of me wants to try Mattawoman or somewhere else.
