Too bad the guy didn't do all the measurements. They should still be able to get a decent weight estimate from the length, especially since the fish didn't look extra fat or extra skinny.

I caught one about a third that size last year and it almost pulled me out of the boat, I can only imagine the fight that one put on. Only thing is how scary is the potential for them to crash the bass population.

I was up in the Occoquan in April when the biologist were shocking the water and netting up snakehead. It was incredible. They were netting up a snakehead every 15 yards as they moved up the rocky banks of that sectio of the Occoquan. Those things are all over the place in there. Even when you can't see them, they're all over the place in the Upper Potomac and its tributaries.
