I was just down there today, my friend had good luck upstream about 1/2 mile on the edge of the lily pad line. He was using a chartreuse spinner bait. I would go out w/ you but my wife has to work and I gotta take care of the little one. Good luck!!

I'm heading down there at dawn. Very top of Mattawoman (trying to avoid the tournament crowd).

What is the 225 Bridige access like

I usually put in on the ramp at Indian Head by Up-the-creek Hobie rentals.

I have a ProAngler. Is there parking for a trailer at the 225 bridge? Why there instead of Indian head?

Just curious. May want to try it out this summer.

It's fine for a paddle kayak but in the Pro Angler I would not recommend it.

There is a gate preventing you from backing up any closer than about 100 feet from the creek. Unless you happen to be launching and coming off at high tide you won't like the first 200 yards of creek either. At low tide you have to pop out and drag a couple of times.

I like fishing that top end of the creek but it's not like you can't get there by launching from Indian Head.

Small parking lot, see the picture:

                    Thanks a bunch

Thanks for the terrific details. I guess I'll stick with Mattingly.

Unless the fishing is a lot better upstream that is. Then, I could bring my Ride135.
