    Interesting vessel (?) off Jonas Green this morning!

    I was fishing off Jonas Green park this morning and spotted an interesting vessel.

    It looked like a green scanoe with white PVC outriggers, powered by a two stroke engine. It also had a bimini top and the person (steering/driving?) in it sat on a high seat and seemed to be pumping two levers as if he was working out on an elliptical or something. Now I have built some strange boats in my sixty one years but this one was really different.

    He waved to me and I waved back. He appeared to be out for a boat ride as I didn't see any fishing gear in the contraption.

        No, the one I saw looked like a green 14 ft canoe with white home made PVC outriggers. The seat was elevated and the person was moving two levers of some sort. The canoe had to have a flat stern as there was a two stroke outboard mounted on it.

        This contraption was nothing that is sold in stores.
