Red Drum!!

Caught my 1st ever red drum today fishing with some of my fellow employees at Rod N Reel on one of our charters- Miss Linda.

We went through a school and had 5 on at once, they hit hard and ran out some line fast!! Very fun the boat we were on trolls a lot lighter line and leader than most other boats so it was a good fight. Mine was about 25 lbs and the largest caught was about 35 lbs.

Definitely the biggest fish I've ever caught!! When I was getting a picture with it, then the fish shook hard and jumped back in the water before it was taken....huge bummer.

Anyways on top of the red drum as a group we caught 65 blues, 2 keeper rockfish and an American shad.

VERY NICE! congrats, where were you at, the markers? if they are up as far as CB then they could be up around the south and severn also

we were trolling off Sharp's Island... but the fish were heading north according to my captain. who know's where though
