  • Conowingo Reservoir/Broad Creek?

Has anyone Yak fished north of the Conowingo Dam in the Susquhanna river? I haven't seen many reports online of people fishing it besides reports of it holding Bass (Striped Small and Large Mouths) Cat Fish, Walleye, Northern pike, and Musky.

Is this a decent Yak friendly place? I found a small ramp where it looks like a good place to launch but was wondering if it is worth the time to drive up there one day?

The bedrock islands north of peach bottom power plant are a pretty good spot for smallmouth. The scenery through there is nice as well. There is a launch off of river rd. Just before you cross over holtwood dam . I believe it is lock-15 . It is a very small park area but you don't need any kind of permit to launch there. The catfishing is very good across the river from this spot as well at the muddyrun discharge area.
