The Bay swim was today...first swim started at on the eastern shore near Hemingways which was a 1 mile swim. Large crowd as my son and I launched from the marina there. Then hundreds of swimmers dove in at Sandy Point Park. There must have been a kayak group who signed up for swim observers, there were tons of kayaks on the bay.
I had no idea the bay swim was today and we went to fish the bridge. Fishing was slow with only a few catches, but the water and weather was spectacular today.
