Lake Anna Question

I will be taking the family, and my two yaks, to Lake Anna, VA, for a week's vacation in August. Renting a waterfront home on the private side. Has been many years since I fished at Lake Anna, and those visits were with a friend on the public side.

Any recommendations regarding yak fishing on the private side would be greatly appreciated...
