  • Newbie from Pasadena and Ocean City

    I have been lurking for a while, now pondering the idea of getting a kayak. I just put a deposit down on a hobie pro angler. I will be picking it up within the next two weeks. I live in Pasadena and am semi retired. I am looking for some people to fish with in the area. I prefer going during the week do to the crowds. I also have a condo in ocean city and would like to try some of the Delaware ponds. I have a boat trailer that will handle 2 or 3 yaks. Lmk if you wouldn't mind showing a rookie the ropes

        Russ i live in pasadena as well and 2 weeks ago bought my first kayak. I got a sit in 10 ft FS10 from bass pro shops, i work there so i got an amazing deal on it.

        eventually im handing that down to my dad and getting the 12ft sit on top to do some bay fishing. I do every type of fishing there is, mainly freshwater is my buzz though.

        Im 23 so not sure if your up for fishing with a young guy but if your into freshwater fishing i can show u some of those DE ponds and light up some fish

          Welcome Russ. i live in Arnold and fish primarily during the week. There are plenty of spots close by to "cut your teeth" with the new kayak. When you get her ready to hit the water let me know and we can do some fishing.

            BassMoore;

            I am old of body but young of heart and would be glad to go fishing with a youngster. I would particularly enjoys fishing the Delaware ponds.

            Both offers are much appreciated. I will let you know as soon as I am set up and ready for the shakedown cruise.

            I am getting my trailer inspected on Thursday. I bought the yak from Survival Products in Salisbury. As soon as I get that done and get tags, I will be picking it up. I was hoping to get my depth finder right away but I think finances and my wife are going to force me to wait a bit. I will have to fly blind for a while.

              i fish stoney creek in pasadena quite regularly and am always down to tag along. Got some pretty good perch pickerel and baby striper spots that have been holding fish for the past few days. Send me a message i typically fish 3-7 days a week, all at varying times but schedule can be flexible with notice. Tight lines.

                        5:00 will interfere with my dinner time. How about 9:00 or 10:00?
