mattawoman & mallows bay saturday 6/30

Im planing on heading to mattawoman creek saturday morning. Havent decided on if im going to launc at slevens or at 225. And around 2 pm im going to head to mallows bay to fish high tide there. If any one wants to join me at eather spot your more then welcome to.

Slight change of plans now. I got and unexpected package yester day (the parts for my out board motor) and fixed it. So im going to be out im my boat at mallows bay in the afternoon. And heading to mattawoman in the evening to bow fish for SH most the night. I dont have anyone going with me so i have an extra bow that is set up if some one wants to join me.

Are you going for sure in spite of the heat? (100). I get off work at noon near BWI and would drive down. I've had so little time on the water and specifically the Potomac this year that I've lost perspective; is the vegetation good and thick in Occoquan/Mallows Bay? I know the last three years it has been but last year early so much of it died back mid July and was slow to return this spring. Frog fishing in the heat of the summer/day can really be the ticket!

The heat dont bother me so much i work in a shop with no ac (113 in the shop today) and i dont have anything to compair the veg to this is my first year fishing the potomac

Finally someone that's not bothered by the heat; love it myself. I'm just trying to work out some logistics; mainly that I'm fishing Sunday morning with a tournament partner and don't have time to go home between fishing tomorrow afternoon and Sunday morning.... I'll pm you my ph# later if I work it out so we can try and meet up.
