Severn 7/3

Went out around 6 am this morning with a friend to my favorite fishing spot on the Severn. Caught many WP (kept 11), small croakers, and the regular schoolie stripers. Used 8 wt fly rods with chartreuse and white clouser minnow patterns. Also starting to see a few jelly fish around.

What type of line are you using to get the fly down to the croakers and perch? Full sinking, Sinking tip, etc...?

Sounds like a fun morning! I almost went out but think either tomorrow or Friday. We were out a few nights ago in my friends Center Console fishing at night and under the lights we saw many big jellies already in the bay out from CB.

[On the fly]

250 grain streamer express by scientific angler for 8wt. And have a 350 grain on my 9. Also have one 8wt with striper intermediate.
