How to care for your Mirage Drive?

Just curious to see how others on the board recommend caring for the mirage drive so that it lasts as long as possible (cleaning, lubing, how often, etc). All suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance!

Go to Hobie forum under Hobie mirage drive FAQ. A guy by the forum name of Road Runner did a great job of outlining care and feeding of the mirage drive.

honestly, i think i have rinsed mine maybe twice since 08. this is what hobie recommends:
