Easton - you'll have to give us a full report when you get back

FJ - I'm not going to be able to make it either, but I would really like one of those stickers. Anyway I can send you a self addressed envelope or have someone pick one up for me?
    Used to fish more.

I believe we are up to 15 with several more maybe's, look forward to seeing you there.

So far I have avoided looking at the weather forecast, thought it would be an individual decison based on experience whether each of us show's up depending on wind, possibility of rain etc. However, if there is severe weather expected will definately cancel.

We can fish on either side of the island to avoid wind/swell.

I'm gonna try to make it ............ although I may be doing more outfitting than fishing .......... I have the rod holders car top mounts and the FF should be here on Thursday so Sat may be the first time I get to splash the PA so I'll have to see where I want to attach everything .......... could use all the help I can get .......

Sooooo if I can get it on the roof and tied down and all the stuff together and the creek don't rise ....... I'll be there

We would like to join in if you don't mind. It's probably 3 to 4 SOT kayakers are coming. I am new here, and I am glad I found this forum. I thought we were the only kayak fishing out there. So what are those stickers anyway?

                  Welcome

Glad to have you, launch is at 0630 or anytime after, these meetings are very informal. Lunch is planned for Harrisons at 12:00. You can launch at Harrisons or across the marina at Dogwood harbor.

Talked with Talbot County P&R, they asked that we pay attention to the no parking signs and slip holder signs at Dogwood Harbor, Harrisons has plenty of parking and good food.

Just fished Skipton Creek for three hours caught about 50 white perch and one yellow perch, looks like the rivers are getting active.

Thanks, It's very nice to know a legit place to park and a place to launch kayak without getting tickets. We definitely join at the restaurants. Nice catch at the Skipton Creek though. We only fish at Chesapeaks Bay (Point Lookout, Solomon, SPSP, and one time in Assateague Island last year. I caught 3 and 1/2ft shark. I've never come back since. lol It was little bit scary when one big shark bit off a big hook in half. I almost flip out of the kayak because I forgot to set the rod for dragging. Oh well, it was a good experience though.

I'm looking forward to fishing in new waters. I will have to make my Friday Night a short one. Need my sleep if I'm going to make the 6:30 launch time

                            Bayfishing,

FYI, I believe there are 18 boat ramps in Talbot County, all are free to kayakers as long as you are not pulling a trailer. Check out http://talbotcountymd.gov/uploads/Fi...20Brochure.pdf
Glad to have you join us, would like to hear more on catching the shark when we see you Saturday.
