Fishing Spots Around Oxford MD?

Hi - new to the forum. We have a place in Oxford and my kids love fishing. My oldest (9) will now go out kayak fishing (near shore in sight of us) by himself.

We have a number of kayaks (two rigged for fishing), a 29' CC and a 17' whaler montauk.

Any suggestions on fishing spots? While grabbing the big one is nice, sometimes with kids quantity is preferable to quality...

FYI - for dock fishing with kids, the commercial crabbing docks by schooners is excellent as they dump their bait over and it becomes a huge chum bucket. Just have to mindful of the guys working.

weve launched from Bellview(?) from the ferry dock. the red can #4 was loaded with fish and has an interesting bottom that holds fish. the lone dock closest to the bouy is in deep water and hold tons of perch

Definitely agree with surfdog about Bellevue area. Lots of perch and some stripers as well in shallows at times. Mdecent crabbing in that area as well.
