Who's ready for more snakehead?

I'm in a debacle on whether to go to OC with fam Friday to Monday or fish some and probably try to target some more snakehead during that time..

Who would want to try for some more?

What you guys think I should do?

I'm probably going to try for snakeheads again on Saturday in the PM if the weather is looking good.

I probably won't be fishing during the weekend, unfortunately. If it were me, though, I'd go to OC on the family's dime. Especially given RavensDfense's report and the flounder reports I've been seeing. The snakeheads will be there when you get back.

i would do OC and try to get some flounder. i think they are way better eating than SH.

I like the taste of snakeheads- good eating fish, but like Bill- I would hang with the family in Ocean City- Grey trout and flounder mixed with blues and a shortie striper ain't bad...

I am torn about fishing this week- getting ready for another cross country trip out west next week, so my window of fishing opportunity is closing- need some family time, too, so only one day to fish- I like catching the bass, catfish and snakeheads, but speckled trout are calling my name- they are fun fish to catch on light tackle and good eating- the bigger ones (over 20 inches) are a challenge due to their soft tissue mouths- horse them a bit and the hooks tear free-

I think I'm gonna stay home, target bass on my lake and SH one day... I don't have somewhere I can keep my PA on the trailer comfortably in OC...

Also, I don't really fish for food much anymore, I really just enjoy the catching part.

Also I gotta run a bunch of errands to get some stuff for my new house that I'll hopefully close on next Wednesday!!!!!!

I wanted to go down south in the creeks to fish for specks but can't seem to get anyone interested and I hate to fish by myself- dodging thunderstorms might not be any fun Friday afternoon- I might join you at the Creek Friday, Matt-

Matt, I'm heading to OC tomorrow with the family and we are taking our kayaks. I plan to do some flounder fishing and hopefuly find a spot to do some Spec. fishing. shoot me a PM I have a spot you could keep your PA if you come.

Ok so I got the go ahead from the wife, I will be heading down Monday most likely to Mattawoman unless u have a better option for snakeheads. Matt, send me a message with ur # so we can get some concrete plans.

I'm going to hit the Mattawoman again on Saturday, high tide is around 9:30am...and the weather is supposed to be cooler. Love to tangle with the snakeheads!!!!!,the bass are a-lot of fun too.

Kodi, if you plan to go early in the morning the traffic will be horrible, When Rob and I went this past Sat. I couldn't believe all the traffic that early in the morning for a Sat morning.

Well I will be leaving my house at around 3:30 am to get there by 5:30 am. I want to be on the water right at day break. So hopefully by the time traffic gets bad I will already be there or somewhat close. Greg- did Jeremy tell u about the musky when me and him did damn 4 to Taylor's last week?
