I personally wear the Kokatat Super Nova Drysuit with the NRS Wavelite XT Union-Suit with UnderArmour under that. If it's REAL cold like Kipto in December (27 Degrees), I add an additional layer of fleece pant and top over the Underarmour and the union-suit.....you feel a little like the Michelin Man....but warmth is a must!!!
Socks......Smart wool with wicking qualities over a second pair of wool with a liner underneath the two pairs.
Mind you this is 32 degree and under........for 50 to 32 degrees I'll adjust the above items to match the wind and temp.......of course headgear.....(2) wool toboggans........and Serius Extreme all weather gloves.
NOTHING keeps the hands and feet 100% warm!!!
