It has been years since I ran a trot line ,and one of the best baits was salted ell. I must be having a senior moment because can not remmember where I bought it.Does anyone know wher you can buy salted ell? Thanks for any help.Frank.

it may still be available but i think exporting eel to japan/europe has allowed elvers to fetch better prices, and crabbers have moved over to bullips. i think it's parts leftover from cow slaughter. really not sure. you may want to give anglers a call. i think they have blocks of chicken parts as bait on the cheap. again, i don't know 1st hand. my crabbing is still on a limited scale.

this has got to hurt, is pinching his eye right out.
