trip to honga river on 8/19

Hey all bin a wile since i was able to get out and fish so im thinking of heading down to the honga river this sunday for a first time. I plan to launch early in the morning from tylers cove just north of hopper island. Looks like a very fishey spot with a lil inlet to the honga river to the main bay and an island about a mile out from the ramp. Im going to be trying for rocks and specks mainly but could end up with anything from perch to flounder in the area. If your intrested in going with i would enjoy the company.

never fished that far south but would love to. what type of fishing you doing? casting lures or using bait.

Going to mainly casting luers but i do want to try out a poping cork with minnow that is if i can catch any.
