Definitely stoked for this weekend!! What's the current head count? Weekend looking good all around!

Surf, Is the grillin' gonna be at your site or a group picnic area? You gonna be the designated griller? Do you have charcoal? I have a decent set of grillin' utensils.

If my wife comes we'll all get potato salad! She'll be coming for the camping. Not much for fishing but she wouldn't miss that part! Anyone elses better half or significant other gonna be there?

I presume food and beverage otherwise is BYO. Or, is the idea for everyone to bring something? If so, I've got potato salad and couple bags of sourdough pretzels covered!

When I made my reservation I noticed one of the policies said "Keg beer is prohibited." I'll take that to mean canned beer is ok. Surf?

mike, just read report in the fisherman mag. that a guy fishing in the old inlet tourney caught a 42" red drum from the surf probably from 3Rs rd south of IRI. might blow off work friday and come down early hitting the store to get stuff for grilling tonight.

I'm excited too MetroMan. i'm hitting the surf early Friday morning, meeting Thomas H. at the pier at that evening, Surfnsam should be there by then so I will hookup with him also. I'll already be at the beach when you two get there, so give me a call, Mytmouse has the cell number.

Don't go too crazy in Basspro on your way there :-)

    whew back up!

grilling, ill pick up plates, knives and forks and condiments. bring what ever you want to grill hopefully we will have some fresh fish to grill also.

try to meet at the pier at 0630 and launch around 7-730 and meet back at the parking lot by 100. if to windy/rough we can go to the ramp in lewes and fish the canal/inlet out of the wind, alot of good fishing there too

jumping between day and evening shift this week so i tmight take a little bit to get back to you

i like wheeling to the right side, if you have a cart if not the left side through the trees is sandy to drag the yak to the beach.

ha! i thought that would get you fly guys

Been reading up some on the area and thought I might post some links of interest!
    http://www.charts.noaa.gov/OnLineViewer/12216.shtml Naut Chart
http://www.fw.delaware.gov/Fisheries...ingReport.aspx <- has a good quick read on catching Tog at the bottom of this weeks report too.
    http://www.oldinlet.com/fishinginfo/fishingreport.php

I was thinking about going out in the yak if I get there early enough Friday, would parking at the pier and walking to the left or right of it and dragging the yak down the path be the most advised launching spots? Cant wait!
