  • Deeper Water

    Morning,
Im fishing SPS under the bridges around pilling #13 and looking for deeper water. Does anyone know around what #pilling the water gets deeper?

Take a look at this interactive mapping site that can overlay depths contours onto a map. You can zoom in to the Bay Bridge and see where the dropoffs are as you move out from Sandy Pt.

If you make it to the first rockpile (coming from SPSP) you'll be in deep water (50'-60')... Between the 1st and 2nd rockpiles, and past the 2nd, you'll find depths to 70'-80'. During the winter I've had luck jigging up stripers from the depths near the rockpiles... It gets deep in a hurry there making for a nice dropoff. Not so much this summer though, woe is me.
